[#4326] cb connect on registration page

You can set the registration or first time login redirect URL within CB Connect configuration to send them to profile edit.

I think this will not be the right approach as what if the user logged in first time and then on profile edit did not updated profile and logged out. Next time when user will login, he/she will not be redirected to profile edit as this is not first time login.

That's basically your only option for now. Pre-filling a registration form is not implemented. I've re-reviewed Facebooks policy and looks like they allow this now due to their release of the Registration social plugin; so it maybe something I can implement now, but will need to review the other social sites policies again to see if they've changed.

It'd be in the next CB Connect release, which is independent of CB. However due to focus on CB 1.10 it'd be after 1.10 release. Can't make any promises, but I'll be reviewing if it'll be doable in next CB Connect release.

Long back we discussed the upcoming solution of allowing CB Pre-filling a registration form through CB Connect i.e filling up the registration form by pulling data through social site.

Is this feature available in latest release of CB connect?
