Hello, I would like to be able to install during the installation of my component, my CB plugin (a user tab) directly from my installation script, if CB is present.

Could you give me an example of code to use to do that. I would like also to be able to publish/active or not the plugin :)

You'll need to first include CBs API as shown in the below tutorial.

www.joomlapolis.com/support/tutorials/120-api-usage/18357-including-cb-api-for-usage-outside-of-cb

Once done you can use the below API usage to install a CB plugin.
Code:
cbimport( 'cb.html' ); cbimport( 'cb.installer' ); $installer = new cbInstallerPlugin(); $installer->upload( PLUGIN_DIR_HERE ); if ( $installer->install() ) { $installed = true; } else { $installed = false; } $installer->cleanupInstall( null, $installer->unpackDir() ); if ( $installed ) { // IT WORKED! } else { // WE FAILED! ERROR IN: $installer->getError() }
