You should be able to use store() perfectly fine. It does not fire the triggers. However storeDatabaseValue will fire the trigger unless you set the third variable to false, which turns off the trigger.

Yes, you should be able to use that usage for basically any field available in profile edit.

The conditions continue until one fails. There is no AND/OR usage at the moment.

Probably not as it's a big change to the way conditionals behave, but it's planned.

If you want them to fire independently then yes; otherwise all conditions on an action need to pass before the action to perform.
