CBsubs: Accept TOS don't work in IE8 was created by dotcom22
hello

I setup Cbsubs to force user to accept TOS (Ask to approve different TOS option) in General plugin settings > Display > Baskets. The fact to tick the checkbox do not allow to choose a payment method making impossible to order something. It seem something conflict somewhere...

IE8 remain much used actually...is necessary to fix this problem.. Could you confirm the problem ?

Probably due to the below bug.

I tried your workaround but this don't change nothing...

Bug Precision:

When I tick the checkbox, available payment remain grayed and not clickable and a message display "field required". If right after I un-tick the checkbox, payment method become normal and I can click on it and order...

So in practice it seem possible to order but we need to tick/un-tick and order can be made without having accepted TOS.

any more suggestion?

Navigate to CBSubs > Settings > Display > Basket and ensure "Choose payment method:" is set to "Choose payment method by showing all buttons available for payment". I believe there's a known issue when using the radio usage with CBSubs terms and conditions. If issue persists press F12 and monitor the Console when navigating to the basket and when using the checkbox for any fatal JS errors.

I looked and I well use "Choose payment method by showing all buttons available for payment"..no radio button.

So as you suggested, I try to debug with F12 and it seem a problem is present in a file called jquery.min.js at line 4. I'm not sure but if I'm not wrong this file is used by CB. When I do "view source" the source is partially hidden (a CB security measure for don't show basket contain ?) so I cannot confirm. When I'm on the previous page (that mean Subscription plan), I can well see the source but I don't see any jquery.min.js.

Any other suggestion?

Enable debug mode and maximum error reporting in Joomla global configuration. Then repeat your test while viewing the browser Console after pressing F12. If any fatal (red) errors please provide the full error, file, and error line here. Note debug mode is vital for this as without it it will output the minified version, which I can't debug.
