Ok in this case we'll wait, we will not duplicate all our subscription plans for our customers for a few months only.

If we can do anything to help or test or accelerate things, just let me know :-)

It's just an guess. We have no internal date or near plans right now. So holding of may or may not go so well if you need the different price/duration now or soon. Sorry, I just can't give anything definitive; we're working as quickly as we can. CBSubs is completely open source so if you think you, your team, or a contract developer can implement what you need you're welcome to do so.

Hi Kyle

I am coming back on this subject . Any chance of a new CBSubs version with this feature soon ?

As explained we need a plan with a duration of one year but with ability to pay monthly in 12 months and I don't see how to achieve it even with copying an already existing one.

We don't need 12 repeating period of one months but a compulsory subscription of one year with 12payments with Ogone direct link and aliasing features.

Any hint ? Is that possible today ?

Not until we're at CB 2.0 Stable. Beta 3 will be after we finish the backends, which is almost done.

As explained we need a plan with a duration of one year but with ability to pay monthly in 12 months and I don't see how to achieve it even with copying an already existing one.

There's no feature for that except clone the plan and have 1 with a 1 year duration and another with 1 month duration. You can't force them into a 1 year month by month contract; I doubt we'll even be able to add that because the payment gateways really do not support it. At most maybe PayPal does, but that limits the feature to a single gateway which would not be a good time investment. We'll know more when we look into it further.

We don't need 12 repeating period of one months but a compulsory subscription of one year with 12payments with Ogone direct link and aliasing features.

We have no such feature.

Is that possible today ?

As far as I am aware, no.

Well this is explained on the manual that Ogone direct link and aliasing features were required to get automatic renewal in a plan, with fields to complete in the backend.

This Directlink feature is pretty expensive at Ogone but we are ready to upgrade if we can use it.

A lot of our users need to cut their annual subscription in 12 monthly payments, this is why we thought it could be good to have this option with CBsubs and Ogone. For now we cannot manage this with CBsubs but would like to keep your software.

To sum up, we cannot have 12 monthly subscriptions as our customers are linked with a one year contract with us, but we can have 12 compulsory automatic monthly payments with Ogone direct link

Is there a way to achieve this ? (paypal is not an option, costs are way too expensive)
Could you develop this feature for us ? at what price ?
If not can you hint at what files to change and a developer group for this ?

Thanks

No, CBSubs has no such feature implemented.

Could you develop this feature for us ? at what price ?

No, not at this time. We will be reviewing all our CBSubs tickets and feature requests after CB 2.0 to focus on a new CBSubs release. Once we've looked into the request further we'll know more on the complexity of implementing this on a generic level (it has to be generic, we absolutely can not implement core features limited to a single gateway).

If not can you hint at what files to change and a developer group for this ?

As I do not know the complexity of implementing this nor the gateway API to implement this I can not suggest anything at this time.

The best I can suggest at this time is the below plan setup.

Parent Plan - Exclusive, 1 Calendar Year Duration, Free
- Child Plan - Exclusive, 1 Calendar Month Duration, Price of your Choosing

What this means is when the parent plan expires the child plan will also become inactive. This means their subscription is active for 1 year yet they are paying month by month via the child plan. Using calendar durations will help keep them in sync.
