[SOLVED] Registration form in homepage was created by hectoritobh
Hi,

I am using the latest version of CB, on a Joomla 3.1 website.

I need to have a simple registration form on our homepage. In particular, I need to display our registration form on the right handside of the homepage, similar to this...

However, after much research, I can't seem to find a straightforward way to do it.

I have seen suggested on other forum posts, to have the registration form be the homepage. However, that doesn't solve the issue for us, since the registration form needs to be on the right (there will be a video on the left)

I also tried using a Joomla wrapper, but that displays the entire registration page in the module area.

I would greatly appreciate your advice / help on this. (And if you can please add to the feature wishlist the ability to have the registration form as a module, that'd be great).

Thanks!
Hector

The best way to accomplish that is to create a new Joomla module that uses CB API to render a custom registration page. The quick and dirty way of doing that is to use a Joomla wrapper module for the registration URL then append &tmpl=component to the URL as follows.

index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=registers&tmpl=component

Thanks Kyle

I'll go with the Joomla wrapper module solution for now.

Kind regards,
Hector
