Basket with no gateway associated? was created by sorozco
Today I had two cases where the customers paid a subscription with credit card with the paypal gateway, but the basket appears as not paid. If I try to register the payment manually in the basket, the system shows this message, and it let me not to register it. So it mantains the basket as not paid, and the user keeps unregistered in the CBSubs plan that he paid.

"This payment basket has no gateway associated so can not be paid manually."

The basket has some data registered about the paypal transaction, like the paypal Id transaction, but appears as not paid.

The first question is about the original problem that is causing that some paypal payments are not registered.

And the seecond question is how to register this two baskets as paid.

Regards

Joomla version? CB version? CBSubs version? Ensure Subscription tab within CB > Tab Management is public and published. Ensure CB Paid Subscriptions plugin within CB > Tab Management is public and published. Ensure you've a public and published Joomla menu link to CBs profile page. Doing all 3 should ensure CB and CBSubs endpoints can be publicly reached so PayPal can pay the basket.

As for the basket and no associated gateway; I've no idea. Ask your customers the exact steps they took as they didn't seam to do something correctly. Maybe they cancelled the basket then tried to go back in their browser to generate a new basket, which became invalid. I've no idea or explanation as to how this could happen.

I will verify the solution you propose, thank you krileon.

About the steps they took, I will verify. But, what i can say is that the basket has the correct paypal id of the transaction. Which makes me think there was a communication between paypal and the system. But, as i told, it doesn't have the amount registered in the basket, neither the status as paid. And it doesn't let me pay manually that same basket neither.

What I had done is delete the basket and login as the user to subscribe with his name to the plan with offline payment. I tried to create the new basket directly in the subscriptions tab in the CB user management section, but the problem is that no basket is created subscribing people to a plan that way. The subsciption is created, but no basket.

It's possible your IPNs are not setup correctly in PayPal and your site was never notified of the payment. Check IPN History within your PayPal account to see if the IPN failed. Also check within CBSubs > Notifications to see if an IPN arrived.

You can't pay every basket type. Baskets created for a gateway like PayPal are designed to be paid by PayPal. Baskets created for a gateway like Offline you're free to pay manually.
