I have a problem that likely has a simple answer. I just can't figure out how to fix it.

I formatted my site to use the CB login module in the left side position. I also chose to hide the "Don't have an account?" feature, as I do not want uninvited public users to register.

My problem arises when a non-logged in user follows an external link to a nonpublic area. The user gets the appropriate "Please login first" message, but then a second login module appears in the center section of the page. In addition to being a duplicate, is has the option to register for a new account.

I only have the one CB login module published. What am I missing? I would like only to have the CB Login mod enabled in the left position so all logins can proceed through there.

Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

That is the Joomla login module that is shown.

Means that you have not turned off Joomla registrations.

Also means that you have not installed the CB redirect joomla plugin:

Nick,

Thank you!! That did the trick to remove the Joomla login and the registration link.

Now I need to find a solution to limit the login to just the left column or the center position instead of both.

Any suggestions?

You can't, CB Core Redirect will ensure the login page is always CBs though so there shouldn't be any issues. This is also only a problem with trying to access registered user content when not logged in or on failed login.
