profile colors issue and birth date field not showing on Registration Page

They're not supposed to be colored. Next release of CB will be using fontawesome for many of its icons so they'll be color-able like any font.

i had seen the (attached) colored icons and thought it should be the same.

Birth Date issue:

joomla user profile shows date rendered as per snag6.png

and when i use it in CB it shows as snag7.png ???

That's the old icons. What you're seeing is the icons provided by CB Bootstrap template.

Joomla user profile has nothing to do with CB.

and when i use it in CB it shows as snag7.png ???

Edit your date field and ensure it's configured correctly. Next ensure you've selected a valid calendar usage within CB > Configuration > General. All of this should be done by default though. If still not working press F12 in your browser and review the Console for any errors (in red) when viewing the registration page as the date field is jQuery driven.
