CB rating behaviour was created by thewebsurfer
hi, many times i noticed some strange behaviours of cb rating (yourrating field):
1. the cancel icon appears when i don't vote yet and disappear when i vote! shouldn't be the opposite?
2. sometimes not logged users can't see the "red" star in the member profile (they see black star) obviously the user was rated before. I set No allow Annonymous Ratings, but i want the not logged can see the rating.
3. the average calculation don't work fine.
as you can see in the images the user id:1077 name: Johansson
(nice name for a sample user, i know)

has ONE VOTE rated 5
but the yourrating field shows 3 star!
(on the right of yourrating field you can see mysql field who query comprofiler_ratingfield_log for the vote numbers, this could be a rating field option)

i want a simple rating exactly like imdb rating

All of this is fixed in next release as CB 2.0 has a completely new rating field built into its core. Proper rating calculation, rating access, display of votes, etc.. is all implemented.

We've 3 beta phases planned so not within a few days, sorry. For now the CB Ratings fieldtype is the only solution available, but it has some issues as you've noticed.

sorry to say, but a paid plugin should AT LEAST is bug-free..
i got a pro membership mostly for rating plugin..
any chance i could have the cb2 rating field plugin if compatible? even beta for testing, i don't care..

No, as said in my previous reply we've 3 beta phases then an RC phase then a stable phase. Beta phases are expected to take minimum 1 week each. RC probably another week at minimum, but this is all subject to change.

The plugin has been completely rewritten, upgraded, and moved into CBs core.

i got a pro membership mostly for rating plugin..

Your pro membership will still be usable and valid for CB 2.0, which will have the new rating field.

I can't release it individually, because it's a core plugin and it uses API that doesn't exist in CB 1.x releases.
