hi, i getting this error for all the profiles..
i've installed joomsef a thought it was it to causes that, so i've unpublished the component and i still get the error.
the only way i can see the profiles is with "url sef" OFF and "url rewrite" OFF

You need a public and published Joomla menu link to CBs profile page. Next when using SEF purge all cache so it can rebuild SEF links. Everything should work fine from then onward. I've no idea what negative effects Joomsef could have caused though, sorry; we only support Joomla core SEF for this very reason (3rd party SEF aggressively breaks URLs).

- i clean the cache from Site->Maintenance->Clear Cache
- i've uninstalled this damn joomsef
- i already have a published menu item linking to cb profile page

i still have the problem
please this problem freaking me out, as you can see by other threads, problems are growing up and not decreasing...

Disable SEF entirely. Then see if your profiles can be accessed again. If they can check your htaccess file and ensure it's the htaccess file included with Joomla (unmodified, download Joomla and extract the htaccess file if you need a clean one). Once htaccess is fixed or confirmed ok enable SEF without URL rewriting and test if your profile links work fine. If they do then enable URL rewriting again and test if your profile links work fine. If they don't or the previous test also failed make sure the SEF Joomla system plugin is enabled within Extensions > Plug-in Manager.

Do all of your profile URLs fail or just specific profile URLs?

These are support forums. People are always going to be posting problems here. Saying bugs are not being fixed is a completely untrue statement and undermines our entire work on CB 2.0, which implements over 100 features and eliminates over 30 bugs.

i've installed and trying joomace, some problem's still on, but way better with CB seo support..
and the problem's gone..
