There is this addon Ajax text field. I wonder if this is still required as the Ajax functionality is now part of the core. In particular I wanted to use it with bubbles. Does it make sense to use this addon or are there new ways implemented to build this bubble functionanlity without extra add on?
Ajax field usage is not built into CB 2.0 core. It's still provided by CB Core Fields Ajax at this time. There's no reason to use CB Ajax Text Field with CB Core Fields Ajax as CB Ajax Text Field is basically deprecated and will probably be archived soon.
