auto action connection two ways was created by activha
Hello
I want to set up automatic connections between users, do I need to have two auto action ? one with users to user and the other one with user to users ?

For now I have only one set up with users to user but on their profile, users do not see the user they are connected to, while the user sees all the users it is connected to.

Yes, you need to use CB Auto Actions to have automatic connections. It has a Connections actual specifically for this. You can optionally use Mutual connections or not when configuring the action (this lets you have one way or mutual connection to the users).

I have not seen mutual connections on the specs. It has only user to users or users to user as selection possibilities in the auto action.

This is why I asked if we need to set two auto actions to get a mutual connection ?

The Connection action forces "Mutual Consent" to "No" if you have "Accept" set to "Enabled" in your action. So if you leave "Accept" as "Disabled" it'll behave as if the user sent a request normally and respect the "Mutual Consent" feature. There's no feature in the action to override "Cross Connections", but it will respect it so you can set it to "No" within CB > Configuration > Connections and you'll then need to use 2 connections to connect the users to each other or you can set "Cross Connections" to "Yes" and you would only need 1 action.

Does not look obvious to me :-(

We have Cross Connections set to Yes in global config.
Best thing would have been to have the ability to force mutual connections without requesting acceptation but while keeping triggers operative to get cb activity implemented

and I dont see how to achieve this...

You can, just set "Accept" to "Disabled" within your action and it won't force the connection request to accept. It'll be pending and they'll have to accept it like any other connection request. It uses our Connection API so it fires triggers perfectly fine.
