how to hide CB Menu for registered users was created by thewebsurfer
hi, i made a "custom" menu with some CB substitutions with all the buttons the users need, so i want to hide CB Menu for registered user and show it just to admins.
If i set "Special" access level to CB menu the Substitutions doesn't work, so how can i solve this (without using display:none)?

ps: what does it means Position option "not visible in profile 1","not visible in profile 2",..?

Did you set the CB Menu plugin within plugin management or the Menu tab within tab management? The plugin should remain public, but you should be ok to adjust the Menu tab within tab management to Special as needed.

They're tab positions that won't render a tab on profile view, but allows them to still be completely accessible.

Tab is needed for the substitution processing then. You won't be able to hide it via access.

Organization, it's so you can organize your hidden tabs as needed. Aside from that they all do the same thing (hide tabs).

a solution could be:
hide CB menu using a "not visibile in profile.."
and using CB content module in special access with [cb:usertab tab="17" user="#displayedOrMe" /]
in this way CB content module is accessible to moderators and CB menu isn't visibile at all.
is that a bad choice?

ps: i still don't get it the use of not visible in profile 1,2,3..
ok organization, but where can i define profile 1,2,3 groups for this organization?

That should work fine.

They're just for organization. They all do the same thing. Edit your tabs and change their position to one of the not shown on profile positions. You don't define anything. Tab Management orders based off position then based off ordering. So having multiple positions lets your organize the hidden tabs better.
