CB Paid Subscriptions Mailer Timing was created by Strategisto2da
Hi,

I need to send an email out once a week for 52 weeks after the subscription date. The "main timing condition" ends at 5 weeks. How do I get 52 weeks?

Thanks

Mike

52 weeks is basically 1 year. So I recommend using the 1 year condition.

Hi Kyle, I have 52 messages that need to go out once a week after the subscription date. So how does the 1 year rule apply?

You need to set "Automatically send message at following date:" to "1 week (7 days) after", then "Relative to this date of the plans below:" to "Subscription's subscription Date", next "But do not send message if it's later than:" to "1 year after". This I believe should give you the expected behavior assuming you trigger your CRON once a week.

I don't think CBSubs Mailer has parameters to configure it for say once a week for up to a year. It just knows when it should trigger the email and when it should stop trying to trigger it. To trigger it once per week you'd need to setup CRON to process it only once per week.

Thanks Kyle, I use Cloudaccess to host my joomla installation. Do I need to consult with them on setting up Chron actions?

Yes, you'll find the needed URLs for CRON within CBSubs > Mailer > Automation Settings.
