CB ProfileGallery has no triggers. So no you can't hook into it with CB Auto Actions. Same with CB ProfileBook.

_pgSave handles saving a new photo and pgDelete handles deleting a photo.

pbSave handles save of a ProfileBook entry and phDelete handles delete of a ProfileBook entry. We try to ensure function names are rather self explanatory. So you should find function naming throughout other plugins pretty simple to follow as well.
