[SOLVED] Frontend login issue - CB module error - CB connect works

10 years 9 months ago - 10 years 9 months ago #239972 by norfolkandway
Hi
registered or admin logging in Using the CB login module the frontend shows as not logged in.
but shows user as logged in in backend user manager

I can login from frontend using CB connect/facebook
J3.2.1
CB 1.9.1
CB tools have been run and all passed

CB Login has been working but have made so many changes whilst building the site I am lost as to what could have caused this.

Have just tested registration
email is sent with confirm link and does register new user - Your account is now active. You may now log in!
But
then returned to homapage showing as not logged in, again cb user manager then shows as user registered and loggedin
New user can register using CB connect/facebook 'signin with facebook'

After a pointer in the right direction please.
All help most appreciated.

Enable debug mode and maximum error reporting in Joomla global configuration. Once done re-test login and see if any errors are output. Also ensure you've a public and published Joomla menu link to CBs login page so it can be accessed by public users. What exactly happens when logging in on frontend? Just refreshes with no error and not logged in? Are you acting on any of the login triggers with CB Auto Actions?
