Neither of those settings matter. You just need to ensure CB Connections is properly enabled and accessible. If you're adding connections from any method other than API then the trigger won't fire and activity won't log. You also need to ensure CB Activity is set within its Config > Activity to log activity for connections.

the connection tab (not the plugin) was disabled, because i show the friends in an another way, now is abled but i still don't see the record in cb activity.
the config of cb activity was alright..
It only adds activity with the onAfterAcceptConnection trigger. So a user needs to actually accept the connection. It doesn't make sense for it to log activity when a connection request is sent, but you can add your own activity using CB Auto Actions on any trigger you want. You'll need to use the CB Activity type on the after add connection trigger in your case.
