There is no subject in a wall like usage. Use Forums integration if you need a deeper discussion integration. There are no plans to add a subject to the Wall integration. The ID is there so users can easily link to a Wall entry though, but with a later release of GJ its display maybe moved or removed entirely so it can better match Facebook stream and other social site stream usages.
