I would like the opening of the article (link) in a new tab (inset).
What code should I change?

You'll need to edit the template files and adjust the <a> element to have a target of _blank, which you can do in the below file.

components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbarticles/templates/default/tab.php

I can not figure out where to insert the new code? Can you help me please!

I do not know if it is possible to do in order to display only the item without displaying the remaining part of the site (eg, menu, header and footer

You need to find "<a href=" usages surrounding the title output and add target="_blank" so it can open in a new window. No this won't display just the article. If you want just the article you need to append &tmpl=component to the end of the URLs. Beyond that I can not help you as we do not support core code edits unless it's to fix a bug.

Ok thanks for the reply.

I tried searching in file ../default/tab.php but can not find the reference "<a href=", maybe is in another file?

probably lies in the following file: plug_cbarticles/models/joomla25.php

I await your kind reply!!

No, it's not in the model file. It's in the tab template file. You'll see 3 functions as follows.

showJoomla15Row
showJoomla25Row
showK2Row

Each function controls the different model displays output. Each one has a <a> element linking to the article title.
