Thanks Kyle,

That is what I needed and have got this to work now.
I also added a condition so you can view your own profile even if you are inactive.

Thanks again.

Hi Kyle,

I found a problem with this method. If you are logged in, it works great, but if you aren't logged in, instead of being redirected to the Inactive member page, I get the message:
"Please log in or register to view user profiles."
Which is what should happen if the user is not logged in and the profile they want to view has an active subscription.

Is there a way to redirect not logged in users to the Inactive member page and if the member is active then get the message above or redirect to another page? I have debug on and it doesn't even look like the auto action is being called when you are not logged in.

Thank you for your help.

You need to set profile access to "Everyone" within CB > Configuration > User Profile then use CB Auto Actions redirection actions to handle your redirects. Without setting profile access to fully publicly accessible CB Auto Actions won't have time to do anything.

Hi Kyle,

Great that works, but now users that are not logged in can view people's profiles. You should only be able to view a person's profile if you are logged in.

Would I need to setup another redirect auto action to take care of this case? If so, what condition do I use to determine if the person trying to access the Profile is logged in?

Thank you for your help.

Yes.

Set the access to "All Non-Registered Users" and it'll always redirect if the viewing user isn't logged in.

Hi Kyle,

I setup another redirect action, but it isn't working. I changed the CB > Configuration > User Profile >Allow Access To: to Everybody

I added a new Redirect Action: Redirect View Profile Requests to NLI users
With the following settings:

This is what shows when you click on View User Profile, for a paid member, on the user profile page:

I put this new redirect action below the other "Redirect Unpaid members View Profile Requests" action. So, if you click on a member that isn't paid up, you get the redirect action working properly, but the new redirect action isn't working.

As you can see when not logged in you are getting taken to the user profile page rather than being redirected to the login page.

Do I need to add some condition as well as just specifying the Access?

Thank you for your help.
