I am having an intermittent issue with registrations that appear in Joomla Users but do not come through to CB?
I have tried to track where the issue can lie but I have found absolutely no reason for this. All people confirm that they have confirmed the email, one has a payment slip for offline payment, one has confirmed the email but cannot get to the payment option or login, a third has paid by PayPal but they have not confirmed their email. None of these appear in CBSubs at all.
Yet I do have about 6 users who have completed and all is in order.
What could be causing this issue?

If the user is registered in Joomla, but not CB then they likely did not register using CB registration. Disable Joomla registration then set CB registration to be independent of Joomlas or install free plugin CB Core Redirect to prevent Joomla user component from being accessed (will send them to CB instead).

So all 3 show up in CB properly, but 1 doesn't have a subscription? It's possible they went to the basket then cancelled the basket, which will result in the user being registered with no subscription. Also if the plan is free lifetime you need to ensure CBSubs is set within CBSubs > Settings > Global to create subscriptions for free lifetime plans.

While you mention free subscriptions it is something that I just don't understand. I don't need free subscriptions, when they are not paid up then they are not subscribed to the site. So I know there is a warning in the configuration but I don't want any free signups.
My subscriptions are
- Individual Member
- Corporate Member
- Honorary Member (not public an upgrade from the back)
For CBSubs to work the user must exist first, because it needs their user information to handle the payment process and it needs to know who is trying to subscribe. So if they get to the basket then cancel it they will be registered without a subscription. This is normal behavior and there is no way to avoid it. You can however block them by setting within CBSubs > Settings > Global and set "Allow Free Registered Users (without subscriptions):" to "No".
