"success" message is displayed as alert

When my users save their profile they should see a green success message but instead get an alert:

Where can I change this to a success type message?

Edit cbRedirect within administrator/components/com_comprofiler/plugin.foundation.php and change the default for $messageType to "success" is the best I can suggest for now. For CB 2.0 I'll go through and see what old usages are still present.

I fixed message type compatibility in CB 2.0. So it'll properly automatically translate from "message" to "success", etc.. So you won't need to re-apply the adjustment once CB 2.0 stable releases.
