Child Plan

Child Plan was created by dillydally
Hi, I have read everything I can find but I am still not clear on how the child plan can operate for me.

I have the following plans

Honorary (free lifetime)
Individual Member (paid)
Corporate Member (paid)
-- Employee Member (free for employees of corporate organisation while the corporate is a member)

I want the Employees of the Corporate organisation to sign up so that we can capture their details and mail to them individually but Questions are
- can I make the membership expire when the Corporate Expires?
- can I upgrade them to individual members if they pay?

Thanks

Somewhat, you're talking more along the lines of family subscription usage which CBSubs does not support. Nick is working on some tutorials to cover family plan usage, but they're not ready yet.

They should be able to do that themselves as long as "Individual Member" is set to allow upgrades, but yes you can upgrade them from CB > User Management by editing them and giving them a new subscription if you want.

Great thanks, will there be a way to know if the family plan tutorials are ready?

I will certainly post on facebook group and tweet about it when it is up.

It is almost ready - lots of workflow bits.

You should be aware this is really not the best solution - we need a much better built-in solution but to be honest we do not have a complete feature description.

If you want to take a shot at a specifications requirements description it would help us.

Hi Nick
I'd be happy to take a shot at the specification, I think, but what would you need and how do you want it specified? What I need is quite simple but I would guess that there may be any number of varieties of this?
