Cannot see output after submit forgot password form

Hello,

My website (Joomla 2.5.18 with CB 1.9.1) using Joomla SEF without any 3rd party SEF extension and also have publish menu link to CB profile page (public access).

My URL for Forgot login is domain.com/component/comprofiler/lostpassword.html. My problem is after submitting the form, it will automatic redirect to the component/comprofiler/lostpassword.html?Itemid=231. (I found that item id 231 was associated wiht the Homepage menu).

When this happen, I cannot see the system message (success or invalid security code) because I've disable the system output at the front page (YOOtheme template setting).

Please help.

CB 1.9 uses the Itemid of the Registration menu item for CB Login module links like that. If it fails it uses the Itemid of the profile menu item. Based off the formatting of the link it has no Itemid. How are you reaching forgot login? Joomla menu item? CB Login module?

I'm using CB Login module to reaching forgot module. I have try to create a new menu for Username/Password reminder at domain.com/recover but no luck. My User Profile (mandatory!) at domain.com/staff.

You need to have a public and published Joomla menu link to CBs profile page for CB to properly use its Itemid. The module the menu is on can be set to whatever access you like, but the menu item it self needs to be Public. You can have a hidden public and published menu link to it for example on a menutype that has no module to display it. You can also create a Joomla menu item that's public and published to the Registration page and CB should use it for the forgot login page.

Below menu is hidden, public and published:

(Replace domain.com with domain that I gave you in PM)

1. User Profile (mandatory!): domain.com/staff
2. Registration page: domain.com/temp
3. Username/Password reminder: domain.com/recover

Still not solve my issue. After submitting the lost password form, it still redirect to component/comprofiler/lostpassword.html?Itemid=231

Reviewed source and it's working as expected. You need to allow system message output on all pages so it can output the system messages. It sends to a "done" page after performing the for login process, which doesn't have an Itemid so it's always going to use your home page Itemid.
