Hello - If you look at this slide show: www.joomlapolis.com/support/tutorials/111-picture-books/18272-community-builder-and-joomla-articles-integration-quick-start #4 shows that it says "Date, Title and Hits" and a date, "Welcome to our site" link and 0 hits.

None of this shows on my Article tab, so my users are unable to create articles.

Can anyone tell me how to fix this? I have followed the directions in this slide show, and all the appropriate plugins they mention are already enabled.

The article tab just shows articles the user is the creator of. It does not allow them to create articles. The old article tab is also deprecated in CB 2.0 and you should install CB Articles, which better displays the articles a user owns. To create articles you can use the Joomla submit content page. CB Blogs can also somewhat be used to submit articles, but only to a specific set of categories as it's meant for blog usage.

Okay, thank you. And I don't know what this means: "The old article tab is also deprecated in CB 2.0."?

My users can't create articles using the Joomla submit content page, as the template I have forces me to use the K2 items and categories. How do I set that up?

The article tab built into CB 1.9.x does not display K2 articles. You need to install CB Articles, which can display K2 articles. K2 has its own article submit page that you'll need to send users to if you want to allow them to submit articles; you'll need to contact K2 for further details on that though.

Thank you again for your expedient reply and assistance!

I did add CB Articles, and now I have 2 "Articles" Tabs on the Profile pages! One is blank; the other one shows all my K2 articles.

So I looked in the CB Tabs, and it only shows one Article Tab. I unpublished it, and both the Article Tabs disappeared. I republished it, and both the Article Tabs appeared...one again is blank, the other one shows all my K2 published articles!

Please can you tell me what I'm doing wrong? How can I get rid of the blank Article Tab?

Meanwhile - I'll head on over to K2 to see if they can tell me how to add articles.

Navigate to CB > Plugin Management then disable "Content Author" plugin. You only need "CB Articles" enabled.
