[SOLVED] CB auto action not working with CB connect.

good day again

I have created some auto actions to a field that set user groups for my clients on registration. It works great but I just realized that if I use the CB connect plugin feature it bypasses those required fields and creates regular registered members.
Is there any way around this.

I have a radio group that is required and it opens the check box field that registers the members to their selected user groups.

Also I noticed that even though I have "show on profile" set to no and "display title" set to no both of these fields are still showing in the profile. They do not make any changes to the user groups if they are changed but still shows up. I take it only the user can see this but is there a way to remove it altogether

No, that's the purpose of the plugin.

Next release of CB Connect will validate the registration. If validation fails it'll present an incomplete registration form for them to complete registration. This will resolve your issue, but there's no solution for the time being unless you disable registration through CB Connect and only allow linking.

What about the fields displaying in the user profile although they are set to not show is that something that can not be fixed as well.

I've never heard of this happening so I don't know what to suggest. If a field is set to not show in profile then it is not even included in the database query for profile field data so it should be pretty impossible for it to display. If you've any form of caching be sure the caching has been purged to prevent out of date data being displayed.
