CCK recommendation? Needed for user profiles

Hey people,

I more and more dive into CB´s potential. Now I´ve already reached my own limitations and am in dire need of a CCK system that goes with CB.
Member profiles have been set up and now I need to be able to add editable CV´s/project lists. I dabbled around with CB´s fields and layout, but need something a bit more comfortable.

So, what´s the lowdown on the best CCK? I read that K2 is very well integrated, but reading that custom fields are not supported within CB makes me a bit nervous.

Has anybody experience or even better a tutorial on how to include a CCK into user profiles?

K2 is the only CCK we integrate with. Using CB Articles you can display a users K2 articles on their profile. CB Blogs also integrates into K2 to store users blog posts to K2. I'm not sure what the concern is regarding custom fields. Once K2 is set to use CB for name, avatar, etc.. then there's no need for K2 profile (they'll always be sent to CB profiles).

Well extra fields are used for way much things that the k2 profile...

For instance to set extra classes to the items, or to set prices to a product, categories, colors and so on

So extra fields support is much requested to use K2 integration now

You can use a Code action or Query action to push any extra information to K2. Currently there's no plan to support the extra fields.

The K2 action in CB Auto Actions supports the core fields, but currently can not do custom fields. I'll see if it can be extended easily to push custom field values.
