CB Blog title not showing frontend

Hi there,

CB Blog title is showing everywhere it should but not on the blog in frontend. Any suggestions?

CB Blogs does not control the display of the blog when using any model other than Internal. That's entirely controlled by Joomla or by K2 depending on the model used. You'll need to configure Joomla as needed or for example create a Joomla menu link to the blog category and it should pick up its Itemid for the parameters.

Thank you for responding. An additional note to run by you is that my Joomla is set for global config to show titles. When CB Blog created a blog it seems to creates an article. When I check that article in the article manager, the page is set to hide title. When I switch to show title for that article. It shows up in CB Blogs blog section. It seems there is a disconnect in the way CB Blogs creates that article for the blog, that ignors the global setting. Is there something I am not aware of, or seeing in the way of settings with CB Blogs and titles interface with Joomla? The creating of a menu as you suggest would go around the ability to use the blog tab in the user profile, correct?

The globals may not do anything in CB Blogs if Joomla sets the globals at store time in a custom store function instead of in the objects store (CB Blogs uses Joomla article object properly). Joomla menu parameters should work ok.

No, it generates the URL from Joomla article routing API so the Itemid would be appended fine.

In a future release I'm going to see if I can just render Joomlas article edit or K2s article edit instead of a custom edit page, but there's no guarantee I can get that implemented and working properly.
