No, it does not. It only checks CB related activity (e.g. CB Login, CB Registration, and more). There's dozens of extensions available on JED (joomla.org) for protecting backend so didn't seam necessary and would require CB AntiSpam to provide a Joomla system plugin. However, the best backend protection is probably full server side using htaccess for a double login system.
