After reviewing this issue with my client, they have determined that the workflow requiring users to log in manually after registration is a deal breaker
So… I have to create some type of a work-around while we await a stable release with the CB Subs trigger location you noted.
Since this only occurs at registration I am thinking that I could pull the email and password values at registration and assign them to custom cb fields.
Could I then post those cb field values when the user hits the thank you page to somehow automate a redirect that log the user in for the first time?
Any other “out there” solution that I can attempt would be greatly appreciated.
Okay, I worked on this issue this weekend and was able to get a workaround. I had to go outside CB and use a plugin to auto-login the user after registration. I will look forward to a future trigger at this location in the workflow if possible. Thanks.
You can auto login after registration using the after registration trigger and CB Auto Actions, but this may mess with CBSubs workflows.
