All of the sudden I am getting this message from the test gateway with authorize.net:
Payment error received from payment gateway: An error occurred during processing. Please try again. (21)
From reviewing their documentation I see that this means the payment gateway account is not enabled for credit card subscriptions.
Nothing has changed in my configuration and this was working fine yesterday. Any idea where I can check that the gateway is enabled for credit card subscriptions?
Enable Authorize.net: is set to Yes: AIM + ARB
Subscription Tab is enabled and published
Plan is set for ARB
after looking into this at Authorize's forum I see other similar posts. Could be that they had a change push through last night that is causing this error.
ARB needs to be enabled at Authorize.net. It's an additional purchase. Enabling it only in CBSubs will not make it function. I've no idea if sandbox allows ARB, but if it does it should be configured the same way as live site usage as explained in the CBSubs documentation and gateways backend. Aside from that you should contact Authorize.net to see if they can offer some guidance on what may have happened.
