I don't think that this will work in a text area field, or? I put the code in a delimiter field! By the way: I wrote this in my first comment! :-)

CB doesn't do any processing like that on delimiter field descriptions. Your Joomla editor is likely doing this. Switch to "None" editor and see if that resolves your issue. For me TinyMCE won't work at all to allow iframes (parameter appears broken) and using the None editor it works fine. Code Mirror might also work and JCE should also work (both likely need to be set to allow iframes).

I had made a complete other test. I read out the description of the single database entry of the delimiter field with the google map code inside and you will find the result here:

In the source code all "& a m p ;" are correct displayed!

By the way: The same problem exists here in your forum. In my first comment I wrote "but the CB encode my "& a m p ;" to "&"" and your system changed this to "but the CB encode my "&" to "&""! But may be this is really a problem with the editor of the forum!

No, that's how browsers work. They do not display the encoded string, but its actual value as the encoded string is HTML code. Regardless of the encoding the iframe will still work. It actually is supposed to always be encoded when used in an attribute or it is not valid. The only time a URL should not be encoded like that is for a redirect (browsers now a days translate it anyways so it doesn't really matter anymore). At any rate I can not confirm your delimiter field issue when using Joomlas built in None editor, but I can confirm using Joomlas TinyMCE. I'm sorry, but I don't know what more to advise. Many users have been using iframes fine in delimiter and editor textarea fields.
