CB 2.0 beta 3 questions

downloaded and checked CB 2.0 beta 3 on local server, looks great, thank you:) have a couple of questions though:

Some cb plugins need update too to suit new version, i'm mostly concerned about profile gallery as it's important part of the site.

Also will CB 2.0 final version include 'add more' option for one field or set of fields on profile edit, so that users can add more fields, i asked about earlier, pls see topic below

CB ProfileBook and CB ProfileGallery will be rewritten after CB 2.0 stable. Current versions will be quickly patched to work for CB 2.0 after Stable release however. No plugins will be upgraded until we go stable though.

No, that won't be in CB 2.0, but likely 2.1. Once we've XML usage on frontend as we do backend it'll be possible to have repeat usage on frontend (as it's available on backend already).

Field parameters - Layout
The tooltip says Substitution support… great feature! This will reduce Delimiter field usage a lot

Does it run J! content plugins, too?
If a general content prepare is not possible, maybe with a select box to run certain plugins only?

No, it's only allowed in delimiter fields (new parameter for delimiter fields). It maybe something that can be added in next release as it's relatively simple to extend the layout functionality.

Edit: Added a feature ticket to implement this. Should be pretty simple to add now.

BTW, is there any possible performance issue? Especially on list view. I mean, does it make sense to have a multi-select which lists all published plugins, then you pick only those plugins that should run? e.g. I have seen such a plugin pre-selection in Cobalt CCK and its text/HTML fields.

Yes, you're going to have a performance hit as it's parsing through Joomla content bots. No a selector is not planned. I recommend not going overboard with content bots.
