I have a newer version of the site that I am migrating all of the users and the passwords are encrypted to resemble this styling:
$P$D/ZhtZc.mnCLoa0BcYfvwaAReUd9n00
Now, my issue is that when I migrate a user over from the older version of the site and use the first style hashing they are unable to login with their password as Joomla is looking for something which matches the updated password encryption.
So all in all, my question is how can I migrate the users password from the old style to the new style?
Secondly is there a way to specify the older style of password encryption so that the users can retain their password and log in with it?
It should migrate on first login attempt. If it's not then please post to the Joomla forums as CB doesn't handle encoding or anything regarding passwords.
