CBSubs no longer automatically renewing existing subscriptions after successful PayPal Recurring Payment

10 years 6 months ago #244106 by codytennisoxygen
Last week, through a couple of unfortunate events, I lost my database file to a monthly recurring subscription-based membership site. I was able to upload all of my users and reset their proper expiration dates within cbsubs. However, the info for each user is no longer tied to Paypal, and therefore will no longer automatically renew their subscription, even after a successful PayPal recurring payment.

How might I be able to relink this information, so that each subscription will automatically renew, expire, or cancel automatically?

Thanks a lot,

Cody

I don't think you can. You'd need to know all the old basket ids and change them within CBSubs to match the basket id in the recurring profile, but I've no idea if this information is even available to check. Assuming price, plan, etc.. is all the same then that should be all you have to change, but changing a basket id is a big task as it's used in multiple database tables.
