CB email address

CB email address was created by debthornell
Many of our dual members use the same email address. They have only one between them. Is there any way to configure the system to allow duplicate email addresses or not have the email as a required field?

Same email issue is a Joomla limitation, but there's a workaround that may still work. Please see the below article.

Then there's nothing you can do about it as it's a limitation in Joomla it self. User ID, Username, and Email Address all must be unique. You can try Joomla.org forums to see if there's a Joomla 3.x workaround as looks like they don't allow alias usage anymore.

You might want to try this:

extensions.joomla.org/extensions/clients-a-communities/user-management/24599

I have not tested it nor do I have any other experience.
Not even sure if it works on Joomla 3.x.
