CB 2 beta3 and Joomla 3.3 jquery duplicate was created by activha

as joomla 3.3 is loading jquery and bootstrap by default, is it possible that CB 2.0 stable has a setting to avoid loading javascript libraries twice ?

this would enhance performance a lot no ?

For jQuery, no as we need to ensure the jQuery library is compatible with our plugins. We also deep namespace our jQuery to avoid conflicts.

For Bootstrap and Fontawesme, yes there are parameters to disable loading of both but I do not advise it as we've extended Bootstrap quite a bit using LESS. Joomla is also using Bootstrap 2 and we're using Bootstrap 3. Note we are not using the JS library included with Bootstrap; just the CSS.

No, we're talking maybe 100kbs at most. Unless you're on dial-up you won't notice a difference.
