CB does not use or support Joomla template overrides. So they won't work correctly with CB and I do not recommend trying to use them. This is also the case for CB 2.0. Once our frontend goes XML we'll enable template override support, which all would be in CB 2.1.

Would this help our issue?

If you want userlist List ID parameter back then I guess so, but you're doing this fix at your own risk as I did not test it on 1.x and it is not cross compatible with J1.5, but since you're on J3.0 you're ok.

OK thanks for the update, no we can manage without template overrides for now on the CB pages. We will let our clients know to avoid doing this for now.
