It's designed after Joomla 2.5 default module layout. Bootstrap layouts are designed after Joomla 3.0 default module layout. Our core modules support layouts now so you're welcome to create a new layout or change the existing layouts to fit your needs. You could also specify a layout override in your Joomla template.
