Purity III

I am looking into Purity III now, since it is a responsive template based of T3.
I am a newbie though and get easily confused as to what needs to be responsive.
In any case, does anyone have any experience in Purity and Community Builder?

The bottom line for me: I need the template to be responsive. If Purity III and CB aren't good together, I'll find another temple. Maybe anyone here can recommend me a good responsive template.

Any Bootstrap powered template should be relatively responsive. I can't speak personally for 3rd party templates though as we're not their developers. The CB Bootstrap template will help CBs profile page become a bit more responsive, but CB won't be 100% responsive until CB 2.0.
