Sorry for the delay in responding here, even though there doesn't seem to be a support request in this post.
First of all thank you for your support and for any testing feedback you have provided regarding the CB 2.0 beta releases. Such feedback will help get things out sooner and with better quality.
Actually, one of the issues we have been getting comments on (perhaps by you also) is about the incompatibility level between existing CB 1.9.1 compatible plugins and CB 2.0.
So we have been working to create a legacy layer that will support backwards compatibility for existing CB plugins to work on CB 2.0 upgrades. This way everyone can take better advantage of the awesome new CB 2.0 features without having to wait for new CB add-on releases. And also our third-party developers get some extra time to comply with the new CB 2.0 API improvements/changes.
Now regarding your tennis remark
actually tennis is a game that does not have a fixed time to end. A tennis match is over when a specific score is reached and the score on CB 2.0 is progressing nicely.
