Thanks for the explanation. I agree that it is vital for a huge component to keep support efforts sleek.
But still I am pretty sure that you can find a way to let the defualt CB installation run on a "safe" CB jQuery setup but still let the more advanced admins set up the site with optimised loading procedures, which could just be a bunch of checkboxes to load external or CB files.
Have discussed internally and we've agreed to an option to shut off the main jQuery file. You won't be able to shut off the plugins as we've no way to know if external same plugin is compatible as some of them we've applied manual fixes as well as we've custom plugins present. This will however prevent duplicate main jQuery from loading if shut off.
