Best way to do that is use CB Privacy then configure your tab as follows.
Display: Moderators can control privacy
Default: Your View Access Level
Then be sure to set the tab to public view access level. The view access level option I think maybe bugged in latest release though. So the above may not be an option at this time.
An alternative is to create a new tab with a delimiter field that has an IF substitution to check if the viewing user is the profile owner and if it is then substitute in your fields as needed.
