Auto action for friends connected was created by mfe13
Hello,

Can you tell me if I can create an action to send an email message to user who has a friend that connects to the site? I do not think but I never know ...
Thanks

Depends on how you're tracking the relationship between the two users. If using CB Invites then you could just act on the invites_onAfterAcceptInvite trigger, which is fired when an invite is accepted (including automatically after registration), but if using CB Invites you shouldn't need this as it already has notification features.

I see, that's somewhat doable, but only with a code action and writing the PHP for it. You'd need to use cbConnection API to grab all the users the user logging in is connected to then loop them and send emails to each. I don't really suggest this though as it's going to easily flag your site as a spammer sending out that many emails.

Ok I understand and I didn't think the problem of spam.
Suppose I send an automatic email each week with cbConnection, how can I put the date of the last login for each connections (friends)? Is that possible?
thank you

When looping through the connections you'd construct their CB user objects and check their last login date I suppose. It's doable, but still going to require custom coding for it.
