I added

^(?=.*[^a-zA-Z])(?=.*[a-z])(?=.*[A-Z])\S{8,}$

to the Perl Regular Expression: field but that does not work. The user still can use a pw like 123123123.

I also set Also validate in browser: to validate client side too, but that does not have any effect either.

What am I missing?

Thanks

You need a delimiter. Surround the regex with / for example. Please see the below regex tutorials for regex usage information.

Thanks, that delimiter thing worked.

I also set Also validate in browser: to validate client side too, but that does not have any effect, the browser validation only checks for the number of charaters but not for the regexp.

Regex not validating browser side is fixed in CB 2.0. In CB 1.x there's some cases where it won't work browser side.
