Is it possible to create two independent user lists with links from separate groups?

Hi, I am trying to create Independent user lists for each profile I have created.
Upon registration, through Profile Pro, you have to choose your profile. Your profile is then managed by separate profile pages etc. (Let's call the two profiles "cowboys and Indians")
Each profile has its own fields to manage and complete. Once your profile is populated and let's say you are a cowboy,you would like a list containing the opposite profile,(Indians in this case)
Same goes for the Indians, you will be able to see a list of all the cowboys.
In this case however,cowboys can have no access to the other cowboys' profiles.(its the nature of this site) again, the same goes for the Indians.

In my efforts to create the user lists for each profile,I can only produce one (User list module) that is visible to both parties. The User list (module) has a drop down list in it with both user lists, which is available to each profile.
I have tried to adjust the access levels and permissions, have even changed the group structures to make this work to no avail.

Any help here would be appreciated.

Not experienced with profile pro.

If your users are segmented based on a cb field value, then you can use this value to filter and create different user lists in CB.
