[SOLVED] Profile edit by moderator, read only fields was created by lkessner
Hello,

i have some fields in profile that read only, so the normal user can not change. At Backend, as Admin, i can change this fields. Thats ok, but give it a possibility that an Moderator, which have permission to change profiles in frontend, also can change read only fields?

Only way to do that is to use CB Privacy and set the field to be editable by moderators only. Then disable read only.

Hi,

nice idea, but it doesn't work :-)
i have tested it, the moderator can change the value but the use don't see this field. The user should see, if the saved information are correct.

The user should see the field in profile view, but no they won't see it at all in profile edit. There's no feature available to toggle read only state based off the viewing user.
