CB 2.0RC2 white screen backend

After install/publish CB Ajax File Fieldtype Plugin v.1.6 on CB2.0RC2, the CB backend gives a white screen.
Error is: Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class CBfield_file in /var/www/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbfilefield/cb.filefield.php on line 0


Already set the 'published' field in _comprofiler_plugin table to 0 but that didn't help.
Any other ideas to get the backend back?

Please note that CB 2.0 has the field built-in to core, so there is no reason to install your old CB 191 compatible any more.

Your database table manipulation should have helped resolve this.

Are you sure you turned off the right plugin?

You can also try to reinstall CB 2.0 RC2 (but redownload because we have updated the build and you may still have an old on locally).

Unless there is any other table then _comprofiler_plugin I should edit, it didn't help.

Anyway, I reinstalled and all is ok now.
I was trying to make the fields in the profile changeable in the profile itself with the Ajax plugin. I understand you correctly that this is now build in?

Looked around in the field config but didn't see this option.

PS. Made a date of birth field (type date) when the date is entered through the edit profile menu option and saved, the selection is not remembered.

Ajax is not built in into the core of the File field type. It will be possible once CB Core Fields Ajax receives a new release after CB 2.0 goes stable. There are also plans for CB 2.1 to have ajax for field types properly built into core.

Enable debug mode and maximum error reporting in Joomla global configuration then retry and see if any errors occurred during save.
