GroupJive Logo in forum?

I am wondering if there is a way I can add the GroupJive logo for a group to a user's profile that is in that group. I would also like to make it so that it shows up under their Avatar image on the Kunena forums. I am not sure how to attempt this so any help is appreciated.

I actaully have two GroupJive groups, one is site based, and one is user setup for teams, I want to set it up so that that the user's team image shows up on profile automatically which I hope to get users more into using the GroupJive functions of the website.

You'd need to write a custom Kunena plugin for that or a custom CB plugin that acts on Kunena profile trigger to alter the sidebar. You'd then need to check the forum id against your groups to find what group the category belongs to and then display its logo from that information.

Essentially I want to do what CBSubs does (with the logos), but with user created groups...Anyone with some skills interested in some work let me know.

We don't have anything for that. You'd need to develop such a plugin. That is a bit more simple though as you'd basically create a new fieldtype plugin that grabs all the groups the user belongs to then calls the group logo function to render the logos. You'd then use CB Forums to substitute in the custom field to the sidebar. That could result in huge sidebars though as if a user joins say 10 groups that's a lot of logos.

Obvoiusly I wouldnt want 10 logos in the forum view, it would have to be limited to 1 or two by code some how. Generally my users only join one group, in a particular category which is the cat that I would like to pull from. On my test site, it would be the "Teams" category.

I will take a look through the CBSubs plug in that handles this, basically I am looking to do the same thing, just pulling the data from a different table in the database, at least thats my theory. But again I am bit out of my depth with hard coding like this..

Just would need to figure out some kind of code to add to only allow 1 image from "Teams" category.
